Crassula ovata, better known as “jade plant”, “lucky plant” or “money tree“, is an extremely popular, easy to care for house plant. The jade plant is believed to bring wealth and good luck to owners and is often given as housewarming gifts. Jade plants don’t require much maintenance, but there are still a few questions you nee to consider to ensure they are given the best chance possible.

Yes, Jade plants love bright, direct light for four or more hours each day.
2. How often should I water a jade plant?
In winter, they only need to be watered every three to four weeks, but during the summer and spring, jade plants should be watered often so the soil is moist but not wet.
3. Where is the best place to put a jade plant?
The best place to put a jade plant in the home is in the southeast corner of your living room. It is not beneficial when kept in a bedroom or bathroom. It must be kept in a generous-sized container – at least 30cm diameter – to allow for their shrubby growth.
