Woolworth’s Discovery Garden collectable seedling kits are one of the best promotional products from the supermarket giant. Not only is it sustainable, but it encourages children to get into gardening and growing their own food. Unfortunately, the smallest members of our community aren’t the most patient when it comes to waiting for seedlings to sprout.
Lucky for us, an inventive seedling collector has discovered a hack to make your seedlings sprout a little quicker.
Shared by a social media user who saw the idea on Waste Not Collective in the Plastic-Free Brisbane Facebook group, the group members explains that all you have to do is save your plastic strawberry punnet!

Use the plastic strawberry punnet as mini-greenhouses and pop your Woolworth’s Discovery Garden seedling kits inside of the punnet, then close the lid and pop in a brightly lit place.
The added moisture and het retention should see your seedings sprouting in no time! Plus, you’ll give the old plastic strawberry punnet another use before going into recycling.
