Victoria Bitter beer-flavoured tea is here

Now it’s never too early for a frothy.

There’s nothing more Australian that a cold beer at the end of a hard days’ work. Unfortunately, it isn’t always appropriate to down a few delicious coldies before work. With that in mind, classic Australian beer brewer Victoria Bitter has launched is very own beer-flavoured tea to celebrate another Australian past time – the 2019 Ashes series.

The tea is made from Ceylon black tea leaves and Victoria Bitter Super Pride Hops and are blended in Australia from local and imported ingredients.

The limited edition boxes of tea come in packets of 24 tea bags, and are available via the Victoria Bitter website for $10 each for a limited time only. And though they completely sold out when they went on sale on Monday, VB representatives has assured the public that the popular flavoured teabags will be restocked shortly.

The tea bags do not contain alcohol, but they do indeed smell and taste like a classic schooner.

It might be time to ditch the English Breakfast and brew up a VB instead.
