Burgers are something of a comfort food. Perfect for lunch or dinner or a late night snack, a burger and fries rarely disappoints. And this Tuesday May 28 you can celebrate the invention of the burger for International Burger Day.
To celebrate the occasion, McDonald’s Australia will be giving away 250,000 Quarter Pounder burgers through the MyMaccas app.
McDonald’s have also just announced that Australian restaurants are the first in the world to have rolled-out a series of improvements to the way the classic burger range is served, resulting in hotter, juicier, tastier burgers – but you be the judge.

Customers looking to pick-up a free Quarter Pounder burger just need to log into the MyMacca’s app and check their My Rewards. The MyMacca’s app is available for download on iOS via the Apple App Store and Android via Google Play. It’s limited to one burger per customer while stocks last.
So, what are you waiting for? Claim that free burger!
