How to make a gluten-free grazing platter

A gluten free diet should not be an inconvenient factor when it comes to celebrations. If you are thinking about how you can still enjoy the variety of a fancy spread while on a gluten free diet, here are some tips and alternatives.

1. Add protein

Start with adding a source of protein like nitrate-free meats and aged cheeses from Flannerys Organic & Wholefood Market. Scatter nuts such as almonds, macadamia, hazelnuts around.

2. Fruit and vegetables

Go for chopped celery stalks, carrot, cherry tomatoes, grapes, figs and pears.

3. Savoury and and crunchy

Add texture using nut, seed crackers and rice crackers, or opt for gluten free bread, such as buckwheat or Venerdi’s Paleo Seeded Bread.

4. Dips
