Use standard metric measurements:
1 teaspoon (tsp) = 5ml
1 tablespoon (Tbsp) = 20ml
1 cup liquid = 250ml
Here are a few other handy conversions:
4 tsp = 1 Tbsp
3 Tbsp = ¼ cup
4. Be scientific

5. Set the temperature
Preheat your oven accurately to the correct temperature, according to the type of oven you have. If a recipe gives a fan-forced temperature, add 20 degrees for a conventional oven.
