How to prepare your barbecue
Remember to clean your barbecue every three months and be sure to clean it up after EVERY use!
Don’t spend unnecessary money on the barbecue branded chips, instead head to your supermarket and by the unbranded kitty litter. It works the same and costs much less.
Buy a gas fuse, it tells you how much gas is left in your tank so you will never run out.
Let your barbie heat up for at least 10 minutes before cooking anything on it.
Cooking on your barbecue
Soft sausages need to be pricked with a fork or skewer before being cooked. Firm sausages can go on as is.
Porterhouse and rump steaks are the best for barbecuing. Make sure to oil and season before you put on the barbecue.
Marinate chicken before cooking otherwise it will burn and if you have a whole chicken it helps if you cut it up.

Cooking the perfect steak
To cook steak medium-rare cook until you see the juices come out of the steak. To cook medium, cook for 30 seconds more and if you want it well done, leave on the barbecue for as long as you want.
