With festive celebrations now in full swing, it’s well worth knowing about an award-winning wine that’ll only set you back $7, whilst also impressing your wine snob friends. Win-win!
Story Bay Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2017 from Margaret River has been named the best in field of 2,500 wines for the second time in three years at the Winestate Wine of the Year Awards in Adelaide as the best bottle under $20.
A panel of expert judges made up of winemakers, wine scientists and Masters of Wine chose the Semillon Sauvignon Blanc (whilst blind-folded) as the winner, describing it as having “vibrant tropical fruit aromas including passionfruit, with notes of lime and blossom, hints of herbal tea and fresh cut grass, and a zesty and refreshing acid backbone that provides structure and length.”
Want to try it? – of course you do! It’s available exclusively at Liquorland, Vintage Cellars, First Choice Liquor and First Choice Liquor Market.
