Brace yourselves – a giant silver toaster on wheels will be dishing out free Nutella-based breakfast items on a mega road trip from Sydney to Perth this May.
Founder of The Nighthawk Diner and ‘food truck extraordinaire’, Alistair Fogg is getting behind the wheel of the Nutella Road Trip for the third year in a row crossing through three states and covering 4600km.

‘We’re going to new lengths this time around to inspire as many Aussies as possible to enjoy Nutella in new creative ways in the morning,’ says Alistair.
‘I am very excited about the brekkie items. They’re all the classics but with a delicious twist. Plus, they’re all topped with Nutella — so you can’t go wrong!’
You can pick up a crumpet topped with strawberries, ricotta, and Nutella or try french toast with banana, blueberries, and Nutella.
A fascinating bagel is on offer with mandarin slices, cranberries, and – surprise! – Nutella. Or you can get a pancake with Nutella, raspberries and coconut flakes.
A waffle with Nutella, hazelnuts, yoghurt and banana is also on offer, along with an acai buddha bowl with crushed berries, banana, hazelnuts and a hefty drizzle of – you guessed it – Nutella.
The epic Road Trip kicks off on May 11 at Chatswood Pedestrian Mall, Spring St, between 7am and 10am, before heading to the Cronulla foreshore on May 12 between 8am and 10am.
Then, it’s on to Griffith by the 15th of May and Adelaide by the 19th – keep up with their trip and upcoming stops at the Nutella Road Trip site.
