The Sydney Royal Easter Show is back, and if you’ve been before, you already know the drill: sore feet, a showbag in each hand, and an entirely unreasonable amount of money spent on food.
But with Sydney Royal Easter Show food stalls expanding significantly for 2026, there’s more to eat than ever before. Here’s what’s worth spending your money on this year.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
- The Sydney Royal Easter Show runs 2–13 April 2026 at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park
- The Winning Bite is a brand-new 2026 initiative — 10 exclusive dishes created just for the Show, judged by MasterChef’s Vincent Yeow Lim and Depinder Chhibber
- Grab the official Winning Bite trail map from Show staff at entry — it has grid references for every stall
The 2026 winning Bite Trail
New for 2026, the Show has launched its first-ever Winning Bite trail: a curated top 10 must-try dishes at the Show.
Each one was specially picked and judged by a panel that included MasterChef guest judge Vincent Yeow Lim and former MasterChef contestant Depinder Chhibber. They’re dishes you genuinely cannot get anywhere else.

1. Nashville hot pickle on a stick, Burger Head
The pickle-on-a-stick is having a moment nationally, and Burger Head’s version earns its place on the trail. Battered, fried and dusted in Nashville seasoning, it delivers a genuinely satisfying sweet-spicy-tangy crunch.
How to find it: Burger Head has two locations at the Show this year. The first is on Shoalhaven Street just north of Riverina Avenue. The second — and closer to Bon Brulee, making it a smart double-up — is inside the pavilion on Illawarra Street off Hawkesbury Street. Same menu at both.

2. Scallop burggah, Burger Head
Two golden potato scallops standing in for a bun, with crispy fried chicken in the middle. This is an unashamedly fish-and-chip-shop fever dream, and it works.
How to find it: Same two locations as the Nashville Pickle above — Shoalhaven Street near Riverina Avenue, or the pavilion on Illawarra Street off Hawkesbury Street. Tick both Burger Head Winning Bites off in a single stop.

3. Rainbow toastie, Carousel Café
The viral rainbow cheese pull is here in toastie form. Honestly, the flavour is solid comfort food.
How to find it: Carousel Café is on Orana Parade, just north of Grand Parade — right in the heart of the Showground. One of the most central stops on the trail, easy to work into any route. A good place to start.
4. Dragon’s breath, Fruity Poppin
Flash-frozen cereal in liquid nitrogen sounds more dramatic than it is, but the vapour clouds are genuinely fun. It’s more of an experience than a meal, so treat it as entertainment with a snack.
How to find it: Fruity Poppin is inside the Showbag Pavilion, south of Riverina Avenue. Looops Funnel Cakes (Butter-Dipped Soft Serve, entry #5) is right there, too — knock both out in one stop.

5. Butter-dipped soft serve, Looops Funnel Cakes
This one is the sleeper hit of the trail. Vanilla soft serve finished with a warm butter drizzle sounds excessive, but the sweet-salty combo is a winner.
How to find it: Looops Funnel Cakes is inside the Showbag Pavilion, south of Riverina Avenue — in the same spot as Fruity Poppin (Dragon’s Breath, entry #4). Do both while you’re there.
6. Sip and dump cup, Dumpling King
Fresh steamed dumplings paired with iced tea in a one-handed cup, so you can eat while you walk.
How to find it: Dumpling King is at the corner of Showground Road and Riverina Avenue — the heart of the new Yum Yum Noodle Market precinct, with Tuk Tuk Thai right next door. One of the most worthwhile detours on the trail and one of the biggest new food additions to the Show in 2026.
7. Flurolls, Fluffy Crunch Fairy Floss
Rainbow fairy floss wrapped around ice cream and sliced into “sushi” rounds is as chaotic as it sounds and absolutely designed for TikTok.
How to find it: Fluffy Crunch is just south of Riverina Avenue near Monar Street, close to the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome. Chimnutz (Golden Bunny Brûlée, entry #8) is a short walk away on Monar Street, so pair these two together.

8. Golden bunny brûlée, Chimnutz
A chimney cone with a hot cross bun twist filled with custard and cake, then topped with a brûléed sugar crust you crack yourself. This is the most Easter-appropriate item on the entire trail.
How to find it: Chimnutz is on Monar Street between Grand Parade and Riverina Avenue, right next to the Woodchop Stadium. Fluffy Crunch (Flurolls, entry #7) is a short walk away, so do them back-to-back.

9. Hot honey corn dog, Wally’s Hot Dogs
A classic corn dog finished with a chilli-infused hot honey glaze.
How to find it: Wally’s Hot Dogs is at grid reference I14 on the official Winning Bite trail map, on the western side of the Showground near the Sheep & Wool Pavilion.
10. Giant crème brûlée, Bon Brûlée
The name says it all. A crème brûlée scaled up to maximise the caramel crack moment, which, if you’ve ever had a crème brûlée, you know is the entire point.
How to find it: Bon Brulee is inside the pavilion on Illawarra Street off Hawkesbury Street, in the same building as the second Burger Head location. Save this one for the end of your trail loop and finish on the crack. You’ve earned it.
Easter show food FAQs
CWA scones start from around $5, the Big Bush BBQ sausage sizzle is around $5, and Cheese on a Stick is around $8. The Woolworths Fresh Food Dome also offers free samples of award-winning produce. There are also free water refill stations throughout the Showground.
The biggest addition is the Yum Yum Noodle Market — a dedicated Asian street food precinct at the corner of Showground Road and Riverina Avenue, featuring Dumpling King, Tuk Tuk Thai and Wolf of Wok Street. The Winning Bite trail is also completely new this year, with 10 dishes created exclusively for the 2026 Show. Honky Tonk BBQ has also expanded for 2026.
If it’s your first time: chip-on-a-stick, a Dagwood dog, and CWA scones are the non-negotiable classics. For 2026, add the Hot Honey Corn Dog from Wally’s (the strongest savoury Winning Bite), the Butter-Dipped Soft Serve from Looops Funnel Cakes (the sleeper hit of the trail), and at least one stop at the Yum Yum Noodle Market. The Giant Crème Brûlée from Bon Brulee is worth it purely for the crack moment.
