Messina is famous for its flavoursome gelato and genius desserts, and for the past two Christmases, Messina has released a limited-edition made-to-order Christmas dessert to the public called the Christmas Coma with great success. But this year the gelato specialists have pulled out all the stops to produce the Christmas Coma trifle.
And yes, they know it’s only October, but last year the special Christmas Coma desserts sold out, so this year Messina is offering early access ordering to customers who are signed up to their mailing list.
The Christmas Coma trifle costs $170 that is supposed to serve 20-30 people, and early access ordering for signed-up customers begins on October 28, 2019 on the Messina website. But you’ll have to pick it up in person, so make sure you choose a store close to you.

Guava flummery (a bit like a whipped jelly)
Macadamia crunch
Coconut chiboust (a lightly whipped coconut cream)
Mango soaked sponge
Mango sorbet
