If you haven’t heard yet, Ninja’s latest 3-in-1 coffee machine is a game-changer, but there’s one feature I’m absolutely obsessed with: the cold froth function. Now, hear me out.
I’ve never been much of an at-home barista. Coffee always seemed better at a cafe. But this machine? I can wholeheartedly tell you it’s much better than a cafe. I’ve never once seen an option on a cafe menu to add cold froth. As an iced latte girl myself, it’s my go-to coffee order, and on the odd occasion when I order a cappuccino, I always ask for extra froth. But never did I think about adding froth when it’s iced. And honestly, not many coffee machines offer this feature.
The first time I saw it was the first time I used the Ninja Luxe Cafe, and believe me when I tell you it’s the silkiest, creamiest cloud of froth I’ve ever tried. But don’t take my word for it. Look at that froth. Now, I can never go back…

Since bringing the Ninja Luxe Cafe coffee machine home a month ago, I haven’t spent a single dollar at a cafe. It does more than I need, effortlessly, and all at the touch of a button.
What is the Ninja Luxe Café Premier Espresso Machine?
Ninja promises an uncomplicated coffee-making experience with unmatched 3-in-1 versatility. The machine makes espresso, rapid cold brew, and well-balanced drip coffee, and it only takes a couple of minutes. It has fancy ‘Barista assist technology’ to help make the perfect cup of coffee, from grind size recommendations to automated brew adjustments. But my favourite part is the dual-froth system. It’s entirely hands-free and creates a delicious, silky foam that’s to die for!
The possibilities are endless with over 15 drink presets to mix up your daily coffee order. But while it’s a great machine, it goes for $800, which is a lot of money. Is it really worth that hefty price tag?

Ninja’s Luxe Café Premier Espresso Machine review verdict
- My rating: 8.5/10
- Why I rated it:
Ninja’s new coffee machine is literally like a little barista sitting in my coffee nook, ready to take my order. I can’t believe how easy it is to use. The setup was quite complicated; however, it was well worth it. Now that it’s up and running, making a coffee takes less than 5 minutes.
The machine comes with everything you need from the funnel to the tamper, and the milk jug has an integrated whisk, which I think is genius. The milk goes nice and frothy – exactly how I love it, being that one girl who always orders extra froth at a cafe.
The machine works hard and looks stylish in my coffee nook. Now, I look forward to having my morning coffee at home, and while it is a large upfront payment, I crunched the numbers. Simply buying one coffee for $5 (often, they cost more), five days a week, adds up to over $1000 a year! Girl maths says you’re actually saving money in the long run.
Pros
- 15+ drink presets to choose from
- Automated milk frother (with a cold froth option!!)
- In-built bean grinder
- Looks stylish in any space
- Adjustable base to put the coffee cup on (no more coffee splatter)
- Easy user experience
Cons
- While the coffee bean grind size recommendation is a nifty feature, it is a little confusing. Every time I turn the machine on, it tells me a different recommendation despite the beans being the same size
- The setup was quite time-consuming; however, it is worth it in the end

How did my Ninja coffee machine test go?
My drink of choice during the warmer months is always an iced latte. Not only is it refreshing, but you can have fun with different flavoured syrups. So, how did the Ninja coffee machine stack up?
In my test run, everything went smoothly. The machine ground the coffee beans with the touch of a button. I used the assisted tamper to compact it, and then I set it to pour a shot of coffee into my cup filled with ice. I could have stopped there, but I wanted to try out its cold froth feature. I added milk into the milk jug, pressed another button, and watched it get to work.
The cold foam was thick and silky and delicious! I poured it into my cup, and honestly, I can never go back to unfrothed milk in my iced drinks, now. It was SO easy to use and took me less than 5 minutes from start to end. The milk frother purges itself, so all I needed to do was wipe the machine down and give the coffee basket and milk jug a quick wash in the sink. All up, it was quicker than waiting for a coffee at a cafe, and it tasted better.
Overall, is it worth it?
Absolutely! The Ninja Luxe Cafe coffee machine is perfect for those who don’t have a lot of time to make their morning coffee, those who want a seamless, mostly hands-free experience or, who want a cafe-quality coffee at home. While it is quite expensive, you won’t ever need to buy a coffee again.
