Kmart’s new homewares collection is a breath of fresh air

Let each piece tell its own story.

Kmart has just dropped a new and exciting homewares range that’s more than just linen, decor and furnishings. The Spirit Entwining collection shares powerful stories through the incredible art of Indigenous artist Rachael Sarra, a proud First Nations woman from Goreng Goreng Country.

Drawing from her roots, Rachael’s artwork sparks meaningful conversations and will deliver a touch of Indigenous culture to homes across Australia. Her signature contemporary style—infused with vibrant pinks and purples will bring personality to a space while evoking a calm reflection and energetic inspiration.

This collection has been thoughtfully curated by Rachael and Kmart’s locally led team in Melbourne. They worked tirelessly to honor the cultural significance and purpose behind each piece.

Speaking about the collaboration, Rachael Sarra said, “Partnering with Kmart has been a deeply rewarding experience. This collection reflects my heritage and story in a way that feels bold, accessible, and true to my vision. Kmart’s unwavering dedication to authenticity and cultural respect throughout this journey has been profoundly meaningful to me.”

“I believe in the power that art plays to tell a story and to allow people to explore complex ideas in an engaging and inclusive way. As a First Nations artist from Goreng Goreng Country, I draw on my heritage to produce pieces that are steeped in culture, while being contemporary and future-facing.”

The pieces are bold, vibrant and culturally rich, featuring deep purples, striking pinks and contemporary patterns.
