I’ll let you in on a little secret; despite being a Lifestyle Shopping Editor, I am absolutely useless at cooking. But while my lack of skills in the kitchen may, at first glance, make me seem like someone who shouldn’t review an air fryer, I actually see it as a strength. After all, if I can make a delicious meal in the Kleva Spin Crisp Air Fryer, literally anyone can.
As air fryers are everywhere these days, it’s easy to wonder if they’re just another countertop fad (in fact, I raised that exact concern when they first started gaining popularity, mainly as a way to keep myself out of the kitchen). So, when the Kleva Spin Crisp Rotating Digital Air Fryer landed on my bench, I was sceptical, but ultimately, my curiosity got the best of me. Could a fancy rotating air fryer really turn my disastrous weeknight meals into something edible?
After a few weeks of testing everything from fries and roast veggies to chicken and dehydrated snacks, I’ve formed a pretty clear verdict on this air fryer, and whether it’s actually worth the bench space.

What is the Kleva Spin Crisp Air Fryer?
The Kleva Spin Crisp Rotating Digital Air Fryer is a 6-litre countertop air fryer that cooks food using hot, circulating air, but with a twist: its basket rotates a full 360 degrees during cooking.
The idea is to ensure even crisping on all sides without you having to manually shake or flip the food halfway through. It’s made from food-grade stainless steel and comes with a clear viewing lid, smart-touch controls and a suite of cooking functions like grill, roast, bake and dehydrate.
What’s so special about the Kleva Spin Crisp Air Fryer?
What really sets the Kleva Spin Crisp apart from other air fryers I’ve tried is its rotating design, which I first regarded as gimmicky, but now see as a must-have feature.
Instead of relying on manual shaking or mid-cook check-ins, which I tend to neglect, the basket rotates a full 360 degrees as it cooks, ensuring food browns evenly on all sides with minimal effort. I also loved the slight tilt of the tray, which allows excess oil to drain away from food as it cooks; it’s a small detail that makes a noticeable difference to crispness.
The stainless steel construction feels more premium than traditional non-stick baskets and is refreshingly easy to clean, while the clear glass lid lets you keep an eye on progress without lifting the lid or losing heat. Add to that a generous 6-litre capacity and intuitive digital controls with multiple cooking modes, and you have a machine that even the worst cooks (me) can create something delicious with.

I took the Kleva Spin Crisp Air Fryer for a spin, and this is how it went
I put the Kleva Spin Crisp Air Fryer through its paces with a mix of everyday staples and weekend treats, from frozen chips and crumbed chicken to roast vegetables and salmon. This smart appliance consistently delivered evenly crisp results without the usual mid-cook shake or stir; something I didn’t realise how much I’d appreciate until I didn’t have to do it.

Chips came out golden and crunchy all over, vegetables roasted evenly without drying out, and proteins cooked through without hot spots. I also found the clear lid surprisingly useful, since it let me keep an eye on browning without interrupting the cooking cycle. While it took a run or two to get familiar with the touch controls, once I did, the cooking process felt largely hands-off, which is a huge win for busy weeknights.
Overall, is it worth it?
After cooking with the Kleva Spin Crisp at least a few times per week for a month now, I can confidently say this is one of the more innovative and user-friendly air fryers on the market.
The rotating feature genuinely reduces the need for manual shaking or checking, and the large capacity makes it far more versatile than compact models that struggle with bigger cuts of meat or larger batches of chips.
This isn’t a basic throw-away gadget; it feels solid, easy to clean, and genuinely expands the way you cook at home. For busy kitchens and families who want reliable meals without deep frying, it’s absolutely worth considering.

What can you cook with an air fryer
Transparently, this is something that had me baffled for a while; I already knew they were great for frozen fryable foods, like chicken nuggets and mozzarella sticks, but after a deep dive into Better Homes and Gardens’ air fryer recipes, I realised just how much they can do.
