Delicious dinner for one: Sticky pork with brown rice

Looking for a delicious, easy and impressive dinner for one? Here’s the perfect dinner idea for when you’re dining solo! A sticky pork recipe with brown rice and green vegies. You can’t go wrong.

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine sauces, sugar and ginger. Mix well. Add pork, turning to coat in marinade.

Step 2

Heat a small non-stick frying pan on medium heat. Drain pork, reserving marinade. Cook 2–3 minutes each side. Pour in reserved marinade and water, bring to the boil, then simmer a further 1 minute.

Step 3

Bring a saucepan of water to the boil. Blanch broccolini and snow peas for 2 minutes until almost tender. Drain, plunge in cold water. Drain again.

Step 4

Meanwhile, heat rice following packet instructions.

Step 5

Serve pork with rice and vegetables, sprinkle with chilli and sesame seeds.
