A great Aussie charity.

While we’ve been shopping online more than ever during the pandemic, we can easily take for granted the simple act of buying a new outfit. So, for those falling on financial hardship, there’s a charity like Thread Together. Joh explores their warehouse and chats to the founder to learn how her amazing organisation is saving brand new end-of-season clothes from over 500 retail brands, before they become landfill. Now, they’re sorted and re-distributed to charity organisations around the country who dispense to people in need. While it may only look like a box of clothes, to those in need it’s a sense of dignity and self-respect.

About Thread Together

Thread Together is an organisation that collects NEW excess clothing from designers and manufacturers and redistributes to Australians in need and at the same time keeping this clothing out of landfill.

Thread Together assists survivors of domestic violence, new arrivals, the homeless, financially disadvantaged, those affected by the pandemic, people experiencing mental health and the long term unemployed.

Thread Together is well prepared for natural disasters and are working across all current flood affected regions.

$5 will cover the cost in supplying a wardrobe to an Australian doing it tough.
