Fridge goals!

You can find all manner of obsessively organised things on Instagram – and people can’t get enough of them.

There are colour-coded bookshelves, beautifully edited wardrobes and perfectly pretty pantries. You can even have an aspirational cupboard under the sink.

And now it’s all about an immaculately curated fridge.

Sydney food blogger Jenny Wong takes photos of her exceptionally healthy fridge and shares them with her 21,000 followers on Instagram.

According to a recent post on Instagram, the contents of her fridge makes Jenny “sigh with happiness”.

For blogger Kristen Hong, also known as @hellonutritarian by her 400,400+ Instagram followers, fridge organization is an art form and a kind of therapy.

“I started sharing my fridge in earnest a year and a half ago as a way to hold myself accountable,” she explained in a post on Instagram.

But what started as “utilitarian” meal prep has turned into a way for her to express “creativity”.

“I’ve said this many times: I’m not a type-A, everything-is-clean-orderly-and-organized-in-all-areas-of-my-life type of person. I’m just a person who tries. A person who’s recovering from a lifetime of disordered eating and food addiction and finding a sort of therapy in some good-old-fashioned fridge art,” she said.

According to Kristen, thinking about “color, texture, taste and inspiration” has inspired and motivated her.

“I’ve had a lot of ugly, dark and tortured interactions with food in my past and I’m so happy to be turning that pain into something beautiful to share with you all,” she said.
