Author of Awakening Your Ikigai Ken Mogi says focusing on the small details in life, accepting who you are and connecting with others and the planet are things that will give the purpose and the energy to get out of bed in the morning.

“Ikigai can be small moments: the morning air, a cup of coffee, a compliment. It can also be deep convictions: a fulfilling job, lasting friendships, balanced health,” says Mogi. “Whether big or small, your ikigai is the path to success and happiness in your own life.”
