We’ve heard of people naming their kids after celebrities, car brands, and even certain fruits, but the latest baby-naming trend is drawing inspiration from none other than Scandinavian furniture giant, IKEA.
A user called Lucy BC has taken to the BabyCentre forum to share a list of baby names that are as Nordic as the products they were inspired by.
“Naming your baby after IKEA furniture might seem ridiculous at first glance, but don’t dismiss the idea!” she wrote. “IKEA is known for the charming Scandinavian names it gives its products and many work surprisingly well as baby names.”
Yep, not only are they trendy AF, these names are also (mostly) unisex.
