It turns out soft, snuggly sheets don’t have to cost a fortune.
Putting cheap sheets to the test, American how-to TV series, Hack my Life, conducted their own experiment.

How to soften stiff sheets
But first, they put the sheets through the wash with 1 cup of baking soda and half a cup of vinegar. For added softness, they recommend starting the cycle on hot and switching to cold during the rinse cycle.
Cheap verse expensive?
The show then recruited six people to test the sheets and the results are surprising.
