8 steps to beautiful eyes.
Step 1. Prime up
Keep your eye shadow in place for longer by applying an eye primer.
Step 2. Choose quality
Buy eye shadow powders or creams with rich pigment. Pay a little more for quality as the cheapest options have less pigment and less impact.
Step 3. Do conceal
Starting at the inner corner of your eye apply small dots of concealer then blend it over dark circles. Repeat below lower lash lines to cover redness.
Step 4. Start light
Apply a light shade of eye shadow to lids and up in to socket creases.
Step 5. Open eyes
Apply a mid-toned shadow to the creases above lids, focusing on the outer half. If your have hooded eyes tilt your head back slightly so the skin above your lids sits back. Apply the shadow into the crease line and blend it up and out over the orbital bone.
Step 6. Line lashes
Using a soft dark eye crayon or dark shadow, make dots along the outer two thirds of top lash lines. Smudge with a small brush or cotton bud.
Step 7. Apply mascara
Give your lashes natural looking colour and volume with mascara.
Step 8. Do your brows
Shapely eyebrows frame your eyes, so add thickness and shape with a brow pencil, gel or wand.
