The board-game kings at Hasbro have released a 2019 edition Game of Thrones Monopoly board game, and it’s as fancy as they come.
The board, packaging, tokens, money, chance cards and game pieces are all inspired by the universally popular HBO show, and players get to choose what house they belong to – whether that be the dragon-riding Targaryens or cunning Lannisters
Rather than buying houses or hotels, gamers playing this GOT Monopoly edition will work their way around Westeros, buying castles and holdfasts in locations from the TV show.
The special edition also includes an Iron Throne card holder with a musical stand that plays the Game of Thrones theme song when the button is pressed.
And rather than the usual Monopoly money, you’ll find yourself trading in gold dragon or silver stag coins.
