Natalie Sweetapple used Kmarts $25 decorative bamboo ladder and $17 wooden coat stand to create the wardrobe for Daisy, her miniature dachshund.

She has so many harnesses, leads, collars, bandanas, clothes and costumes that I didn’t like hiding away in the cupboard. This way they are on display all the time and they look great! Natalie explained.

Natalie started Daisys wardrobe 18 months ago, but it only took her 20 minutes to organise. Her favourite clothes and accessories brands are Big & Little Dogs and Pablo & Co.

My husband thinks Daisy has more clothes than we do, which is probably true, but loves the new display as it gets it out of the cupboard and he can easily grab her leads and collars off the rack for walks,” said Natalie.

The Kmart hack has caused a stir on social media, attracting more than 3.3K likes on the Kmart Hacks & Décor page.

“Omg that is amazing, a very spoilt puppy,” said one reader.

“I thought I was the only one with over 30 outfits for my dog. I love love this idea! Definitely going to do it.”

In total the wardrobe hack cost $42, and Natalie used coat hangers from the baby section at Target.
