With Fast Ed’s departure and Colin Fassnidge’s debut, Better Homes and Gardens welcomes yet another chef into its kitchen: Clarissa Feildel.
Like Colin, Clarissa promises to delight viewers with her repertoire of quick, easy, and delicious dishes.
Many of these dishes bear an Asian influence, combining her family’s traditions with her own modern take on what Aussies love to make for their weeknight meals. Despitethis being her first television show, Clarissa is no stranger to BHG, having previously appeared alongside her husband, MKR judge Manu Feildel.
What’s Clarissa cooking?
Starting off with a quintessential dish of fried rice, Clarissa has some helpful tips, including how to cook the rice, that not only makes this meal quick and easy, but oh so tasty.
Other recipes we can expect to see over the coming weeks include Malaysian fried chicken and a quick stir fry with Hokkien noodles and chicken.
Clarissa isn’t the only new face appearing on Better Homes and Gardens this year. The show will feature a series of food presenters, each offering recipes from various cuisines and cultures.
Better Homes and Gardens is also set to collaborate with chefs from some of Australia’s premier restaurants, providing audiences an exclusive glimpse into their kitchens.
As for who these chefs will be, you’ll have to wait and see.
Clarissa’s first episode will air Friday, April 5, 2024, on Channel 7 and 7plus.
