One of Australia’s most popular chocolates is making a comeback, and social media has erupted.
Cadbury has announced that Caramilk will be returning to supermarket shelves on Wednesday 2 October 2.
Famous for its blend of caramelised white chocolate and its creamy texture, the previous limited run was so popular among Australians that it was listed for 10 times the retail price on eBay.
Katrina Watson, Marketing Manager for Cadbury Dairy Milk says, “We’ve listened to the tens of thousands of Aussies asking us to bring Cadbury Caramilk back. We couldn’t ignore their passion for our golden chocolate block, so we’re proud to be bringing it back.”
To thank fans ahead of its launch, Cadbury is selling 500 blocks of Caramlk for $4.80 on their Cadbury Joy Deliveries’ eBay store from Thursday 26 September. All proceeds will be going to Save the Children Australia.
