Gather your supplies

  • Bicarbonate of soda
  • Sweet orange essential oil
  • Mason jar

You’ll also need

  • Glass jug
  • Measuring cup
  • Mixing spoon
  • Flyscreen mesh
  • Scissors
  • Label
  • Microfibre cloth

Here’s how

Pour 1 cup bicarb soda into a glass jug.

Add 15-20 drops sweet orange essential oil to bicarb.

Step 3

Mix well then spoon into Mason jar.

Cut a piece of flyscreen mesh to fit inside screw-top lid.

Screw mesh lid on Mason jar and add label.

Sprinkle scrub onto a damp cloth to use.

For you to note

Mason jars are used for preserving as they have a two-part top – a flat and screw-top lid – that creates a tight seal, making them ideal for storing this scrub.
