Bunnings recalls oil column heater

Customers are being urged to stop using the product immediately

Bunnings has issued an urgent recall on a popular heater after fears it may cause a fire.

The Moretti 11 Fin Oil Column Heater was available exclusively at Bunnings stores across Australia earlier this year.

“The heater may rupture when turned on and allow hot oil to spray out, causing scalding and burns,” the recall notice advises.

If you have purchased one of the affected heaters, you should stop using it immediately and return it to your nearest Bunnings store where you’ll receive a full refund.
