Everyone has gotten their ‘husband’ at Bunnings already, but, for those that missed out, they’re back!
Bunnings was transformed into a chaotic store filled with Bluey fans looking for Bluey gnomes in February of this year.
The limited edition Bluey garden gnomes, selling for $19 each, flew off the shelves, and sold out within two days! Shoppers claimed these items were ‘gone in minutes’ after being placed in store.
Bunnings has kept their promise of a re-stock, and now, 6 months later, that promise has been fulfilled! You will be able to purchase one of the four Bluey gnomes at Bunnings from Saturday 3rd of August.
The Bunning’s Instagram has just announced the news with this video:
How the Bluey gnome fanbase started
They disappeared as quickly as they were placed on the shelves in February. Many Bunnings stores had signs noting buying restrictions for the gnomes, however many were happy to announce they were able to purchase all four figurines.
Over social media, many Bluey fans expressed their joy in announcing they had ‘got their new husband’. In reference to a Bluey episode where Bingo picks up a garden gnome in Hammerbarn and declares the gnome as her ‘husband’, shoppers are now doing the same!
‘Got all my husbands today at Hammerbarn’ one happy customer exclaimed.
However, over a single weekend, all Bunnings stores that stocked the four garden figurines in-store, and online as well.
Bunnings understood the fan disappointment of the quick sell-out and expressed “We are sorry to hear some customers missed out on a Bluey garden gnome this weekend.”
A Bunnings spokesperson divulged information about a restock to Better Homes and Gardens in February, stating that “There will be additional stock of the range dropping into selected stores soon and we are working hard to get this into stores as quickly as possible.”
And finally, our wishes have all come true!
Will you be heading to your nearest Bunnings for the chance of getting your hands on the coveted Bluey gnomes?
