Bunnings’ Mini Bears are returning to stores today with a brand-new line-up dubbed Mini Bears 2.0. Here’s what we know.

Why Bunnings brought them back
Bunnings Director of Marketing & Retail Media, Justine Mills, says the response to last year’s launch inspired the team to bring the collection back.
“Last year’s Mini Bears took on a life of their own. They flew off the shelves, filled social feeds and quickly became one of our most talked-about merchandise launches,” Justine says.
“It was fantastic to see customers sharing their collections, trading bears with friends and family and hunting down the rare designs.”
The new Bunnings Mini Bears lineup
The new five-piece blind-box collection includes :
- Winter Bear
- Workwear Bear
- Trade Bear
- Overalls Bear
- A secret rare bear, which has now been confirmed as a bear wrapped in a sausage sizzle.
Justine says this year’s designs take their cues from some of the brand’s most popular merchandise.
“The winter-themed bear is inspired by the new beanie and scarf range we’ve created for the upcoming season of The Block, while another design gives a nod to our popular trade flannel shirts, which were originally released as a limited giveaway for our trade customers.”
Don’t worry, if you missed out last year, Bunnings says it has ramped up production by almost 250 per cent.
What is the secret Bunnings mystery mini bear?
The new surprise bear takes inspiration from another iconic part of the in-store experience, though Bunnings is keeping the details under wraps.
As for the odds of scoring the elusive bear, Justine confirms only 1 in 16 boxes contains the secret bear.

All bears feature removable, mix-and-match outfits compatible with both the original 2025 range and the new Series 2 collection.

Some Mini Bears from the original 2025 collection have been resold or traded online after selling out, particularly rare designs. Bunnings has not commented on resale value.
