Don't forget these.

Selling a house can be stressful. And while the state of the interiors is important, dont forget about your garden.

Here are some common gardening mistakes people make when putting their house on the market.

The entrance

Make sure the entrance to the property is obvious. If the door is around the side of the house, create a garden path or something that leads people to the door.

Plants

Just because you’re vacating doesn’t mean the backyard should be lifeless. In fact, adding plants around the perimeter not only softens the space but also makes it feel larger.

Safety hazard

Make an effort to fix anything that is broken or rotting. Potential buyers will take the amount of work needed on a place into considering when making their decision.

Paint

Flaking paint sends the wrong message to potential buyers. If you’ve neglected the paintwork, then what else has been left to ruins? A little touch of paint is the quickest and cheapest way to spruce up your place before selling.
