Better Homes and Gardens is paying a visit to a true-blue Aussie Digger, David Trist, the type of friend you want by your side through thick and thin. Having served in New Guinea during World War II, David then survived a skin disease picked up in the jungles. After coming home, he met Betty and they’ve been happily married for 73 years. At 97, he’s still working as the Chairman of a building society that provides affordable housing for disadvantaged people. The least we can do is say thanks for his lifetime of selflessness, so Johanna, Adam and Charlie will give the family backyard a complete makeover. They’ll make the new garden low maintenance, more accessible and a beautiful space to bring joy to David and his family.
