Gelato Messina
Gelato Messina is renowned for their seemingly endless creative ice-cream concoctions and this Easter they have upped the ante with three stunning Easter eggs.
Available for a limited time, the three eggs come as a set dubbed “The Yolk’s On Us” and each is made with one of Messina’s signature gelato flavours, coated in crisp chocolate and filled with an oozy fruit ‘yolk’ centre.
Each “The Yolk’s on Us” box contains one dark chocolate egg filled with white chocolate gelato and a passionfruit yolk, one white caramel chocolate egg featuring cheesecake gelato and a mango yolk, and finally a milk chocolate egg with vanilla gelato and a yolk of yellow peach.
These drool-worthy desserts are available for a limited time for $70, must be ordered online, and picked up from a selected Messina store between Thursday 29th March-1st April.
They also say the three Easter eggs can satisfy six to nine people – which frankly sounds like a challenge.
Messina’s latest egg-cellent creations are just the latest in a series of exciting egg-shaped goodies we’ve seen in the run-up to Easter this year. Cadbury revealed their Creme Egg ice-cream, then this gin and tonic egg appeared, and (not even kidding) this egg that is made completely of cheese!
