Just when you thought Cadbury Creme Eggs couldn’t get better (or gooier), along comes the deep-fried creme egg.

The gastronomic hybrid is the work of Bondi café Milky Lane, which is also responsible for Kinder egg shots and a vertiginous Bubble O’ Bill cocktail.

The creme eggs are covered in cornflake batter, deep fried, and served with Nutella dipping sauce.

Milky Lane’s creation is making waves on social media, with opinions divided over the artery-clogging snack.

“You guys are killing me,” said one person.

“DEFINITELY TRYING THIS,” added another Instagram user.

“I love it,” co-owner Christian Avant told news.com.au. “Nothing is too much for me. I couldn’t be in this job if I thought it was too much. We have no boundaries.”

Mr Avant said the creation is only available over the Easter long weekend.

“If goes really well, which we think it will, we will keep it on a little longer as we don’t want anyone missing out,” he said.

The Cadbury deep fried egg will be available at all six Milky Lane locations in Sydney and on the Gold Coast cafe from April 12 to 15.
