Get your display cases ready because Disney OOSHIES are coming back to a supermarket near you. Starting July 15, Woolworths customers will once again be able to collect a tiny OOSHIE with every $30 spent in-store, with 40 unique characters up for grabs, spanning Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. A more sustainable set of OOSHIES
This year’s collection has also had a sustainability refresh, with the new range made almost entirely — 97 per cent — from recycled materials.
Woolworths is launching a nationwide in-store recycling program, so shoppers can return any unused OOSHIES from the new range to Woolworths stores for recycling until 31 October 2026.
A 10th anniversary collection
The relaunch also marks 10 years since OOSHIES first landed in Australian trolleys.
Pallavi Gaur, Executive Director of Brand Commercialisation at Disney Consumer Products Australia and New Zealand, said the anniversary collection celebrates the year’s blockbuster slate of storytelling from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, and that the team is looking forward to seeing OOSHIES bring a little more magic to the weekly shop.
Woolworths Group Chief Marketing Officer Sean Barrett said that expanding the program across Woolworths, BIG W, and MILKRUN makes it easier for families to unlock rewards and build their collections.
Bonus OOSHIES with select brands
Shoppers can also score a bonus OOSHIE when they buy select products from participating brands, including Bega Cheese (excluding spreads and cream cheese), Bonds, Burgen, D’Orsogna, Danone, Dove, Energizer, Finish, Four N Twenty, Gillette, Heinz (excluding baby food), Kellogg’s, Lipton, McCain’s, Nescafé, OMO, Oral-B, Pantene, Patties, Smith’s, Sorbent, Swisse and Tip Top.
Collector case for $10
For those wanting a head start, a $10 Collector Case will be available at Woolworths, BIG W and Metro stores. It comes with a board game plus two exclusive glow-in-the-dark OOSHIES to kickstart your collection.
Where to buy OOSHIES
The biggest change to this year’s program is where you can get your hands on them. For the first time, Disney OOSHIES won’t be a Woolworths supermarket exclusive. Shoppers will also be able to collect a character with every $30 spent at BIG W or via a MILKRUN delivery, giving families even more chances to complete the set.
