Sweet, more-ish peach biscuits in under 30 minutes? Consider us sold. Taking advantage of the convenience of packet vanilla cake mix and the juiciest fruit of the season, peaches, this is the ultimate shortcut peach biscuit recipe you’ll keep making over and over again.

Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease and line two baking trays with baking paper.
Finely chop one peach and thinly slice the other. Place cake mix, butter, chopped peach and water in a large bowl. Stir to combine.
Roll 2 tablespoons dough into a ball. Place on prepared tray. Flatten slightly with the palm of your hand. Gently press in a slice of peach. Repeat with remaining dough and peach slices.
Cook for 15 minutes or until slightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool on tray. Dust with icing sugar to decorate. Best eaten on the same day.
