In exactly two weeks, we’ll feel the nerves of 24 contestants as they walk back through the doors of the MasterChef kitchen. Some of our favourites from seasons 1 to 16 will show how much they’ve grown since their original season/s while taking a shot at $250,000 and the title of MasterChef for Australia 2025.
We’re excited to see what crazy challenges and weird flavour combinations the judges have up their sleeves (looking at you, mystery box!) and we’ll cheer alongside the talented chefs as they’re pushed to their limits.

Who are the guest judges on MasterChef Australia 2025?
So far, they’ve spilled the beans on one guest chef who will grace the kitchen with quick wit and banter. Kicking the season off is guest chef, Gordon Ramsey. He’ll greet, guide and grill the contestants from the second the clock starts with no-nonsense critiques and an unfiltered attitude.
When does MasterChef Australia 2025 start?
The air date has been announced! MasterChef Australia will premiere on Monday 28th April at 7:30 pm on 10 and 10 Play. It’ll be on 5 days a week from Sunday to Thursday.
Who are the MasterChef judges?
This year, the judge lineup is full of familiar faces from season 16. Season 4 winner and co-owner of Three Blue Ducks, Andy Allen will join food journalist, Sofia Levin, runner-up of season 1, Poh Ling Yeow and acclaimed French chef and restauranteur, Jean-Christophe Novelli to challenge, inspire and encourage the contestants.

Who won MasterChef Australia 2024?
Nat Thaipun walked away with the MasterChef Australia 2024 title. She’s a Victorian-based barista with a talent and love for cooking and took out runner-up Tasmanian butcher Josh Perry.
Who won MasterChef Australia 2023?
Brent Draper first competed on MasterChef in 2021 but after reaching the top 13, he withdrew due to mental health issues. After receiving the help and support he needed, in season 15 he returned and went on to take out the cash prize of $250,000 and title of MasterChef 2023.
Where is the MasterChef Australia kitchen?
From the very first season, MasterChef has been filmed at the Melbouurne Showgrounds in Centenary Hall. Built in 1934 for showcasing the display of farm and dairy produce during the Royal Melbourne Show, it now hosts an array of popular TV shows such as Nine’s “Lego Masters” thanks to its sound-proofed and air conditioned studios.
