Following the popularity of furniture hacking, Ikea has jumped on the bandwagon coming up with a genius way to use their magnetic knife holder.
“We love to hack our own products,” Ikea’s website says. “In fact, we try to find crazy new ways to use them as often as we can.”
“You’d be surprised what you can do with a little bit of creativity and a magnetic knife rack.”
As well as storing your knives, the racks can also be mounted in an art studio. Paintbrushes can be stored within reach on a wall. Just make sure you hang them with the bristles facing down.
