Just over a hundred years ago May Gibbs created the classic Australian children’s characters, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. Tonight, Juliet visits Nutcote, an historic home on Sydney harbour where May wrote and illustrated many of her stories. There, she not only gets an insight into May’s life, but plenty of inspiration to decorate a young fan, Mabel’s bedroom. With a pop of her favourite colour, some new furniture and a whole lot of wall stickers of May Gibbs characters and Mabel has a cute new room to enjoy for years to come.
