When macramé fan Debbie George stumbled upon a large metal clock at Kmart, she spotted an opportunity to create a totally new design.
The Melbourne mother of two used over 160 metres of macramé rope and spent 72 hours making the hack.
Debbie made the intricate dream-catcher design in sections, starting from the top and working her way down to the bottom.
She spent around $60 in total on the boho-inspired craft.
The Kmart hack was popular on social media, attracting over 3.8 likes on the Facebook group Kmart & Beyond Ideas.
“That is stunning!” exclaimed one user.
“Beautiful!!! Very clever lady,” added another.
The clock is currently available at Kmart for $20.
