When asked if there was a particular technique or method, Amanda says, “The most important thing to remember is that the tips should be going in all different directions.
“If you point them all the same way, that’s how you get gaps and can see straight through to the trunk. By alternating the way you point the tips, you fill in all gaps and it gives a much more natural look.”

- Take your time and do the fluffing properly. It is a tedious process, but if you start with a good base, the finished decorated product will look a lot better.

- Bend every single branch to make sure they are all going in different directions.
- Take a step back and look at the tree as a whole to see if you have missed any spots and rearrange any sections as needed.
