The ‘Best in Show’ winners from MIFGS 2024
The prestigious City of Melbourne Award of Excellence for Best in Show was awarded to Emmaline Bowman of Stem Landscape Architecture & Design and Liam Riley of ID Landscaping, with a design entitled “Through The Looking Glass”.

Inspired by rural Australia through a sustainable lens, this duo’s design inspires thought into having minimal impact on the environment while showcasing the beauty of nature’s hidden world.

The statement feature, an iconic Australian windmill, hovers over an awe-inspiring garden filled with plants, hulking stones and a pool of water.

The garden’s accolades also include the Gold Show Garden Award, Mark Bence Construction Award and the Horticultural Media Association Award for best use of plant life.
