Better Homes and Gardens fans are in for a double dose of inspiration in 2026.
In an exciting announcement, Better Homes and Gardens has confirmed that, as of March, it will air not only on Friday nights as usual but also on Saturday nights during the AFL season, giving viewers an extra hour each week at 7pm.
Johanna Griggs shared the news, saying: “We’ve got really exciting news for you, because this year, not only do we get your Friday night fix of Better Homes and Gardens, but during the AFL season, you’ll also get a whole new hour of the show on a Saturday night. So what does that mean for you?”
“Well, it means more recipes. It means more house calls than Dr Harry means more amazing garden inspiration. Beautiful housewalk crews, DIY, you name it.”
A proud tradition continues
Executive Producer Russell Palmer says the expansion reflects the show’s enduring popularity with Australian households.
“We’re so thrilled Better Homes and Gardens will continue its proud tradition of entertaining Australian households on Friday nights throughout 2026, now with the added bonus of Saturday nights during the AFL season”, says Russell.
