Jacky sadly lost her husband, Lance Corporal Luke Gavin, when he was killed serving in Afghanistan in 2011, at the age of 29.
Understandably, the past six years have been tough on Jacky who, as well as dealing with her own grief, is now raising the couple’s three kids alone.
This week, the Better Homes and Gardens team is giving Jacky a little helping hand, with a surprise makeover that she definitely didn’t see coming.
Jacky thinks the team will be painting the walls in her son Josh’s bedroom, but it’s going to be a whole lot more…
