2 x 395g cans sweetened condensed milk
4 x 180g blocks of caramilk chocolate, finely chopped
50g butter, chopped
Royal icing, to decorate
Lightly grease and line a 20cm x 30cm slice pan with baking paper.
Place chocolate in a large heatproof bowl. Put condensed milk and butter in a medium saucepan, stir over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until just simmering. Pour hot mixture over chocolate. Stir until melted and smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Chill for 4 hours or overnight, until firm.
Using a greased 5cm star cutter, cut fudge and decorate outlines with royal icing. Serve.
Cook's notes: Substitute caramilk for dark chocolate if you prefer.
