A new round of price reductions means your furniture shopping spree is as cheap as ever!
National favourite furniture brand Ikea has just announced that there will be further price reductions starting this week. Over 700 items will be added to the growing list of furniture, homewares and decor that have ‘new lower price’ listed on their sale tag.
Together with the new reductions, this makes a total commitment of $125 million in price reductions on over 3,000 items in the last year.
‘Creating a better everyday life and securing the lowest prices possible’ has been a part of the Swedish brand’s Democratic Design philosophy for the past 80 years, and in the current inflated economy, we’re sure glad they’re keeping their promises!
“Like most businesses, IKEA has not been immune to rising costs from supply chain and operations – however, as a business we’ve made a commitment to not pass these costs on where possible.”
So, which items can you now get for a reduced price? Let’s take a look at our top three furniture items:
Pax Wardrobe in white is now available for the new lower price of $780, which was previously $1000. Functional and aesthetic wardrobe design, that comes in easy flat-pack pieces, can be difficult to find at affordable prices.
This wardrobe comes with the ability to customise the shelving and spacing options to your own personal needs.
Ikea is changing the game, and inexpensive storage options are now available to the masses!
The Brimnes bookcase is the perfect example of luxe furniture at affordable pricing. Previously priced at $199, this bookshelf is now only $149, and would fit perfectly in a hallway, entrance or living area.
Better yet, the extra cash you save with this price reduction can be used to buy books to fill the shelves!
Finally, the Lohals flatwoven rug is now at the reduced price of $169 (previously $199). The addition of natural materials and interesting texture is usually attributed to luxury costs that are often out of budget.
