With more tourists flocking to Bali than ever before, there has unfortunately been an increase in bad behaviour by some. In a bid to combat the issue, Balinese authorities have decided to issue an official “dos and don’ts” card to all incoming travellers.

Balinese authorities are taking a stand with preventative measures. The informative cards will outline local laws so that foreigners travelling to Bali know what can and cannot be done.

The head of the Regional Office of the Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Anggiat Napitupulu, shared that the new cards are in the final stage of completion.

The card will be created and handed over at Immigration, so that the Immigration can tuck the card into the foreigner’s passport when they land at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport,” Napitupulu said last week, according to The Bali Times.

He further explained that the Regional Office of the Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Bali Provincial Government, and the Tourism Office had discussed the dos and don’ts cards several times.
