You will need the following:

  1. Cut the cake into four pieces. The biggest piece will be Bingo’s head, and the remaining pieces will be the nose and ears.
  2. Square off the biggest piece, prop it up on a cake board, and lightly squash the nose on.
  3. Cut the icing off the ears and set them aside.
  4. Now make a basic buttercream and separate it into three batches. Add a few drops of orange colouring to make a dark orange shade, and set this aside.
  5. Add a drop of orange colouring to your second batch to make a light orange colour and spread this over the head.
  6. Once it is all smooth, place the cake in the fridge so the buttercream can become firm. Take the cake out of the fridge once it’s set and you’re ready to pipe on the extra details.
  7. Tint the final batch with yellow colouring if needed to make a cream colour. Use this cream colour all over the nose piece and as Bingo’s signature strip that goes vertically up her head.
  8. Now using the dark orange colour, spread over Bingo’s area. Carefully place the cake ears on and also cover this with the dark orange buttercream. Make two little ears using wafers and pop them on too. Pipe some eyebrows using the light yellow buttercream. Trim the chocolate button with scissors to make it more triangular for the nose. Cut two slices off a giant marshmallow to make the eyes, then use M&Ms for the pupils. Cut a strip of the marshmallow for Bingo’s teeth and you are done.
