The tasty twist in this crunchy, moreish finger food is pickled veg – pick it up from Asian grocery stores.

Flying butterfly cupcakes

Pretty little cakes with wings will be up, up and away on your handcrafted cake stand! Just be careful not to pipe on too much buttercream – the stand holds cupcakes weighing up to 70g each.

Spicy beef potato dumplings

Use up leftover mashed potato to create hearty dumplings filled with spicy, garlicky bolognese. Present them on stylish serving boards and Dad will feel extra-spoiled.

Salt and pepper pecan-bacon praline

This is the ultimate mash-up of sweet and salty goodness: bacon, sugar and nuts. Oh man, Dad will love it (as will everyone else in the family)!
