Kellogg's is set to release a new take on a breakfast favourite that is bound to make cereal lovers extremely happy.
The cereal company is introducing a white chocolate version in the UK and it's the first time the recipe has been altered.
Not only is it a new flavour but it also has 30% less sugar than the original.
Kellogg's in the UK says it has been listening to fans and is excited to bring the new flavour to supermarket shelves.
"In response to our fans, and the growing desire for white chocolate varieties of popular foods, we wanted to see if it was possible to create a white chocolate Coco Pops that tastes as good as the original," said Katy Bailey, Kellogg's UK brand manager.
"Our food developers have succeeded and for the first time in the cereal’s 59 year history a white chocolate version will hit the shops."
They've even introduced a new mascot to add alongside Coco the Monkey.
Nula the Narwhal will be part of the advertising campaign that will retain the famous tagline "just like a chocolate milkshake, only crunchy."
A Kellogg's Australia spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au it hasn't ruled out releasing the new Coco Pops in Australia.
"We’re always looking at on-trend flavours and limited edition cereals, so white chocolate is one of the flavours that we’re exploring," they said in a statement.
"Coco Pops Chex Cookies & Cream is one of the flavours we’ve got, while more recently we’ve also launched Unicorn Froot Loops and Mermaid Froot Loops."
But never fear.
There are a couple of UK food importers which will most likely stock the new product for Aussies to try.
