Have Mini Eggs been discontinued?
Cadbury did announce earlier this year that Mini Eggs would be discontinued in the UK. This has lead to increased confusion surrounding the availability of the Cadbury product in Australian stores.
Because of this news, many Woolworths shoppers have been led to believe that this discontinuation choice also applies to their local stores.
One announced, “They’re not making them anymore! I’m so devastated! I’m assuming they only put out the last bit of stock they had left."
Another claimed that: “Apparently they are discontinuing, I went to five shops yesterday and couldn’t find any. And then I asked a worker and they said they discontinuing so now it’s till stocks last.”
However, a Woolworths spokesperson has informed 7News.com.au that Cadbury Mini Eggs are in fact still available to purchase and will not be discontinued in Australia.
The spokesperson explained that “Our iconic Cadbury Mini Eggs range is a go to for many chocolate lovers during Easter, available via a range of retailers. We’re happy to confirm our Cadbury Mini Eggs range will be included in the Easter 25 range ongoing in Australia."
